Description

Model building sheet in 1:87 scale
For many centuries, the “Hospital of the Holy Spirit” was one of the most important institutions in Blaubeuren. It was founded in 1420 by Hans Russ.
People were cared for in the hospital until 2008. In the 1930s it was merged with the Blaubeuren community center so that it became a retirement home. Since 1964, the prehistoric museum of the city of Blaubeuren has also been housed in the west wing of the building. At first the museum only had one room available. Several renovations to the building made it possible to continually expand and redesign the museum exhibition. During the last renovation from 2009-2012, the prehistoric museum was also expanded to the north wing of the hospital building.

Suitable for H0 scale model railways.
