Description

Model building sheet on a scale of 1:160
The Hornmoldhaus City Museum is named after its builder Sebastian Hornmold (1500-1581) and has housed the city history collection of the city of Bietigheim-Bissingen since 1989.
Objects that make the past of the city of Bietigheim-Bissingen and its surroundings tangible are exhibited, collected and researched here. These include finds from the Stone Age, Roman and Alemannic settlements and the Middle Ages. Exhibits from the 16th century illustrate Bietigheim's heyday, in which Sebastian Hornmold worked as town clerk and bailiff. In particular, his half-timbered house, built in 1535/36, with its magnificent paintings is unique for this era.

Suitable for N scale model railways.
