Description

Model building sheet in a scale of 1:120

Whether a “farmer's castle” or a day laborer's house, whether a weaver's house or a photo studio, whether a sheepfold or a baking and washing house: the buildings in the open-air museum in Beuren convey an interesting range of stories from everyday village life in times gone by. They were brought here from various villages in the Middle Neckar area and the Swabian Alb.
The open-air museum of the Esslingen district in Beuren is located in the middle of the Swabian orchard paradise, is an information center in the UNSECO Swabian Alb Biosphere Reserve and an information point in the UNESCO Swabian Alb Geopark.
The residential and farm building from Tamm is an unusually stately farmhouse. Its client, Johann Georg Mannsperger, a farmer, butcher and at times ox farmer, was wealthy and belonged to the village upper class. An extension with a stucco ceiling in the Rococo style was truly unusual for an 18th century farmhouse. Today the museum restaurant is located in the Mannsperger courtyard.

Suitable for TT scale model railways.
