Description

The Chinese Dragon looks very impressive with his tactile hairs, his beard, his antlers and his mane. Chinese dragons differ from Western dragons in that they have no wings and exhibit a feathered tail. In the Far East dragons are treated respectfully while in Western culture they are chased and slaughtered. Many Chinese feasts are unthinkable without dragon dances.

The rotation of the handle is converted by a crank slider into an elliptic movement. One end of the pushrod is fastened to the crank while the free end is attached to the dragon's head making it travel in the same oval pattern: The dragon jumps up and turns his head to the side and he snaps with his mighty jaws.
