The rotation of the crank is transfered on a friction wheel by two cams and transformed into the movement of the head, which is turning from the right to the left and back again. A crank slider makes the kite swing from side to side and up and down. The arms which are fixed to the kite by a string were raised and lowered by the movement of the kite.
