By applications in level water a daughter's boat can be put out. The ships of the "Theodor-Heuss" class were sketched in long series of experiments and tests. They were a model for the later development of rescue cruisers of the German society to the rescue of castaways. The formerly "H. H. Meier" called sea need rescue cruisers (1960) was renamed as the last ship of this class as the name giver "Theodor Heuss" and came in 1987 to the German museum.
